 | Initial and Secondary Consultations |
A discussion with the client takes place where we gather all the information necessary to begin the initial concept and design of the solution. At this point we also define the scope of the project and estimate the cost of development based upon those determined boundaries.
|
 | Concept and Design |
Designing the application from the ground up including possible logic solutions, screen designs, and any technical requirements that will be needed for the project.
|
 | Design Approval |
Concept, designs and technical details are presented to the client and adjustments are made based on their feedback. We move on to development with their approval.
|
 | Development |
All portions of the project are created at this point in time based on the concepts and designs established in the previous stages. The development stage typically has four major milestones consisting of:
- Front-End
- Back-End
- Integration of the Application
|
 | Alpha Testing |
Our first build of the project goes through its first series of serious debugging. All the problems and bugs found in the project by the alpha test performed are then corrected.
|
 | Revised Demonstration |
The revised alpha state of the project is demonstrated to the client and any final changes are committed based on the feedback from the client.
|
 | Feature Freeze and Beta Testing |
The project is now in a state where features of the application cannot be changed, added or removed. Our second build of the project goes through its second series of serious testing and debugging. Any problems and bugs found in the project by the beta test are also corrected.
|
 | Release Testing |
Our third build of the project goes through its third series of serious debugging and testing.
|
 | Code Freeze and Demonstration |
The project is now in a state where the source code can no longer be touched for this current version. The release version of the project is also demonstrated to the client.
|
 | Deployment |
The project is deployed and integrated into the client's website on their live production server and tested to ensure the install is functioning properly.
|
 | Support |
Depending on the size and type of project, you may have questions or need assistance in the future. All Geek Developer web applications come with the first six months of support at no additional charge.
